Overview
Track every player's progress, right on the court. CoachBook is a coaching journal built for tennis coaches. Record skill assessments, practice logs, and match results for each player, and see their growth come to life in charts. Turn gut-feel coaching into something you can actually measure.
Recommended drills line up automatically based on each player's weak points, so your next session plans itself. Wrap it all into a shareable PDF report for players and parents. Start free with a single player, then scale up to your whole squad.
Features
- Manage profiles, skills, practice, and matches for every player in one player card
- Assess 27 skills across five categories — Strokes, Serve, Footwork, Mental, and Tactics — and track growth over time with charts
- Log practice and matches in seconds — ratings, focus tags, notes, voice memos, scores, and stats
- Scores your drill library against each player's skill assessments and match issues, ranking the ones that target their weak points — and skipping drills you used recently
- Build your own drill library, with difficulty levels and effectiveness ratings
- Export player reports as PDF and share them easily with players and parents
- Connects with MatchLog — receive match reports from your players and send feedback back
- Sign in with Apple / Google, with data safely stored in the cloud so switching devices is worry-free
Integration
CoachBook × MatchLog integration
Available in CoachBook 2.0.0 and MatchLog 2.0.0
CoachBook, used by the coach, and MatchLog, used by the player, now work together. Link a coach and a player with an invite code or QR code, and the match reports the player logs arrive in the coach's inbox, ready to review and approve into that player's match records.
Feedback from the coach lands in the player's MatchLog with a notification, and stays readable any time in the new Coach tab. Display names and avatars sync automatically too — so daily records feed straight into the coaching cycle, with no roster retyping and no chasing messages across chat apps.
